Consultation Department

Introduction

Former Consultation department is Clinic of Dermatology Department of Bach Mai Hospital. In 2006, the Dermatology Department was separated independently from Bach Mai Hospital and changed its name to National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology. With that, the Consultation Department - National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology was established. At this time, the facilities and human resources were limited, the Consultation department mainly served the medical examination and treatment needs of the insured dermatological patients.

Functions & Missions

To meet the increasing medical examination needs of patients, in 2009, the Consultation department conducted two medical examinations: fee collection (in parallel with medical examination for patients with insurance) and on-demand examination. In the beginning of 2013, the Consultation Department deployed more Professor / Associate Clinic with a high level of expertise, leading the Dermatology field to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people.

 

In order to create favorable conditions and timely meet the medical examination of people all over the country, the Consultation department has conducted early examination (from 06h15 on weekdays), and after-hours examination (from 16h30 to 18h00 on weekdays; 07h30 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 17h30 on weekends and holidays).

About human resources

Consultation department has the participation of 02 Professor-Doctor, 02 Associate Professor-Doctor, 07 Doctors, 06 Specialists II, 02 Specialists I, 28 Masters, 06 Nurses, and 05 instructors to meet the needs of an average of 1500 patients per day. In parallel with the team of highly qualified and experienced Medicine - Doctors, the Consultation department constantly innovates, applies information technology in the registration of medical examination and management of patient information in order to create favorable conditions for people come to the clinic.

Clinic staff are regularly trained and trained in communication and behavior skills towards patient satisfaction.
